What's the first thing you notice about a person?
When you interact with someone new, what's the first thing you notice/what catches your attention first and why?
- Height - Face - Fashion style - Smell - Voice - Body gestures/language - Other
For me, it's definitely either smell or voice. I dislike perfume so I'm more comfortable with people who don't use it. I also notice voice because their tone really helps in knowing how the interaction is going (?)
before covid: probably how they enteract with people/me. do they figet and seem nervous? are they outgoing? shy?
during covid: basically "did they just cough" & "are they wearing a mask"

I know this is really shallow but it would be height. I don't want to but I'm really short, so I'm just wondering why everyone is so tall. (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜 1 reply
it’s hard for me to look people in the eye so one thing i really focus on is tone and sometimes body language. i feel as if i’m a boring person so i pay attention to these things to make sure like ‘hey is this person really interested in anything i have to say?’ reply
For me, personally, I can't really say that I notice any one thing first. I kind of take it in all at once and it all kind of mashes together. Appearance wise, anyways. What I pay attention to is linking their appearance and personality. Are they mean to me? Snappy? Do they look tired or are they just bitching 'cause they probably suck as a person,...... reply
Their sense of fashion (or lack there of). I like seeing the nice outfits I'm too lazy/depressed/broke to wear. A common thought is "I think I might wear that if just getting out of bed wasn't so damn difficult." reply
I think for me its smell and voice. I have really bad vision like im legally blind vision so the rest I can barely tell about a person. If they smell like cinnamon or flowers I immediately simp no matter who they are but not the weird kinda simp the kinda simp where you admire them a lot. reply
body language. im observant so it’s easy for me to tell if someone’s anxious or not and i’ll adjust my words and actions to make them feel more comfortable. 2 reply
