I need help
I really try my best on drawings, but they end up like sh1t or sometimes I draw something well, then at first im proud of hit. But then I watch some other animators and it makes me feel like crap. I try so hard on my drawings, I spend so much time and effort into them, but they end up so bad. I just cry bro, I know i shouldn't vent on this site, but none of my friends are helping. I really try my best to be like other artists, but I can't. Whenever I send my art all i get back are emoji's like: ;-;, ._., etc... so I end up deleting it after 5 minutes. I really want to be like my idols, like Skaroy and such. But its just so hard for me :( Sorry for the rant, but I just really want somebody's help :((
Everyone has their ground zero, you'll get better with time. I know saying "Don't compare yourself to other artists" isn't really gonna help so how about you try not to see their arts for a while? Compare your drawing to your previous drawings (like from your drawing from some months ago or sum) and think how you can make it better and try many thi...... reply
Girl/Guy, it's normal to feel crappy about your art and hate it but i do hope you realize that your art is your own and you don't have to be like your idols. For me, my art is for me to show other people how i see the world with my own eyes, it doesn't have to be very detailed, very colorful as long as my message is read and my emotions are clear. ...... reply
I relate to these feelings a lot and I'm majoring in art in college. I think the problem I have a lot is putting too much pressure and expectation on myself. That's what usually causes me to feel really disappointed and crappy about my work. I would recommend trying to make doodles with less emphasis on the end result. U can always use references tho. And if u get depressed cuz of another artist then stop watching their vids (by experience). It helps a tiny bit. reply
Made an account just for this. I suck at giving advice and I’m always afraid I’m coming off as too harsh so keep that in mind and I guess take what I say with a pinch of salt lol.

You art is your creation, its something unique that defines you as an author. I haven't seen the art, but you can try changing the way you draw features and choose the best one that portrays what you need. Good drawing doesnt have to be good quality or perfection but it should the portray the feelings of what you draw. So don't give up! You have so...... reply
Imma keep it short. Stop comparing yourself to other artists, it literally does wonders for your motivation and your drive to become better because you're doing it for yourself and your own enjoyment instead of for someone else's validation.
