NOT a fujo
is anyone here NOT a fujo/fundanshi (for the sake of my question, i'm considering anyone who regularly reads yaoi a fujo/fudan). so far, every profile i've clicked is filled with only yaoi and some shoujo if i'm lucky. feels like i'm the only non-bl lover around
I'm not a fujo, bl is just another genre to me. ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶ i prefer shoujo, but i do read yaoi. honestly, i will read anything that has pretty art and a good story lol (▰˘◡˘▰) 1 reply
Not a fujo either. I treat yaoi/BL the same as I would shoujo or shounen or any other genre of manga. I can't understand why some people will worship it but be like "ewwwwww straighties" reading about a straight couple. It always irks me whenever a story is rated higher JUST BECAUSE it showcases a b x b relationship.
I actually will prefer shouj...... 3 reply
hate the term fujoshi since people say fujos fetishize gay men and i would hate to fetishize people in my own community (i’m a lesbian) so... just a bl fan lol and i read everything bc why not 1 reply
My read list is 90% yaoi but that doesn't mean that's the only thing I read lol. I prefer buying my own shoujo manga as it is available in my local libraries. On the other hand, yaoi is forbidden in my country and the only place where I can read it is here so... ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ reply
On that note, can someone rec me some good straight romance webtoons? I've been looking for some good ones recently cuz I don't read yaoi all the time 1 reply
just because i read bl doesn't mean i wanna be called a fujoshi. I read a lot of genres (shounen, horror, shoujo etc..) and i hate the fact that people call me a name bc i read BL. Why aren't we calling people that read shoujo a name? i don't fucking get it. 2 reply
I mean I read BL but usually only if it has a good plot. I haven't really read any BL in a few months, I've been just browsing shoujo manga lately...I don't really know if it counts or not ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ reply
I read everything and I don't like to call myself a Fujoshi because I'm not a rotten girl and because I don't like putting such labels on myself. 3 reply
I’m not a fujo. I used to love BL a few years back, but it just doesn’t appeal to me anymore. I’ll still read Shounen Ai if it is well-received by others and if I’m interested in the plot, but I don’t actively go out looking for it.
I don’t read anything sexual, either. Only wholesome romance stuff for me lol. reply
I'm not a fujo and I think I'm one of the more rare ones out there who doesn't like BL. I actually avoid BL the same way I ignore series with too much gore or psychological horror.
That is to say I have no problems with others enjoying BL or LGBTQ relationships in general. I don't read BL because I don't relate to it. I actually do like reading gi...... 1 reply
