how do i stop overthinking and also change the way i think?
whenever someone says anything towards me that i don't think is positive, i end up thinking about if they think i'm weird, if they hate me, if they are tired of me and just worry about what they think of me. sometimes when people say anything positive about me, i never think they actually mean it and that they just say it to make me feel better or keep me from doing something troublesome. i'm also kind of a people pleaser except i'm not always good at pleasing. how do i stop?
1. It’s none of your business if people don’t like you and vice versa
2. You’e gonna die someday so there’s really no point in worrying about anything.
3. You don’t owe anyone ANYTHING, you were not born to please people.
4. If people are tired of you, screw them, you don’t need “friends” who treat you like that.

first off: the fact you're writing this question to complete strangers means you're already overthinking.
i'm kind of in the same position, i'll think about things that people have said to me that really made me happy or vice versa and it'll really dampen or brighten my day. seriously. to that one guy who said i was childish, i hope you know i wa...... reply
