I guess you could take it that way, but I think people are a lot more comedic, exaggerating, etc online than in real life. These characters aren't real and have 0 feelings at all, it's fine to do and say whatever you want about them in theory. I could be wrong but the really problematic people on here are most likely the underage who have little to no life experience. The biggest fantasy in yaoi is that love conquers all, when in fact, it does not. Sex is not that intense for most people either, so it's quite misleading, but you see these same issues in straight smut.
