A H A H , well i was 6 and a half. I actually started with yuri but I'm like "sis wheres the spice this is boring goodbye" and I stumbled upon yaoi. Webcomics was where I had embarked on my journey and it's been 5 years since I started (shush.) I've made friends with people who I'm really close to now through yaoi.
