Does anyone know you read yaoi? If so, how they'd find out?
So today I wanted to kinda slowly ATTEMPT to introduce one of my friends to yaoi. I started showing her characters from Dear Door, Sign, Painter of Night, etc. and telling her their backstories (not into depth though). She thought they were from anime so I kinda just went along with it. She has no idea that I read yaoi, but I lowkey wanna kinda tell her "hey, i read this, you should too if you want." So i need help on how imma do this.
My best friend and a few minor high school acquaintances know/knew. My best friend knows because I told her when we went to our first comic con together. For those acquaintances, I told them, too. Erm maybe don't start with Painter of the Night? I mean you should go slowly and before exposing yourself, you could try to figure out their opinion about this and the kind of story they like. If they are open-minded enough to give it a try, start by Shounen ai or yaoi that are more focused on the plot (King's maker for example). You can say someth...... reply
