Coming out advice
So it's been a while since I've realized I'm not straight. Two of my friends already know it but I want to come out to my mom. Me and my mom are really close. We talk about literally everything and she loves me a lot but the thing is we are a catholic household and she doesn't understand lgbt(although she never talked bad about them but she said she wouldn't want her close people to ne gay) I tried bringing this up but always got scared. She is currently telling me to get a bf and I just want to tell her the truth. What do I do?
I think 1st be honest with your mom your not ready to be in relationship right now. Yes it is true being yourself is important but there are things to consider and consequences on our decisions. I know its not easy to be open as a Catholic because of the beliefs of the religion.
