Just a little question.. Have any of you guys ever shows a emotion that probably was not meant to betrayed while reading a yaoi book? I have 100% I have cried and laughed at certain books. If you have what book was it?
Although it wasn't a yaoi book, I remember tearing up when one the characters died in an anime I was watching. Soon after, however, I started laughing like some maniac to the point that my stomach hurt Xd. reply
Do you mean one that wasn't appropriate for the story (such as laughing at a tragedy, etc)? Or just had a really strong emotion? I think part of the reason yaoi is so popular is that fujoshi's feel able to experiences strong emotions (including humor, joy, sadness, angry, at that jazz) from the stories. Sometimes it's not even that the story makes ...... reply
I grew up watching horror movies. No matter how much I like someone, I will lugh if they get hurt. I actually laughed at myself after falling down the stairs once. 2 reply
