I can totally read straight hxntai when I was younger but when I started reading BL, I also started to read less straight hxntai. And now my situation is like this: I can read BL w a plot and smut scenes but if you give me another manga w a hetero couple and w the same plot, I can't read it at all unless it's a plotless one and I it has tags that I like + I only skim it. Other than that, I won't view it. Does anyone relate to what I said?? (╥_╥) I don't hate reading straight hxntai, it is that I can't handle reading it. I really wanted to read (╥_╥)
its embarrassing cause girl same. im trying to read some straight couple mangas and yes they are cute but personally BL is more interesting like.. in bl stories theres problem that doesnt really apply to straight couples or problems that never happened to me (im straight unfortunately) thats why i find it interesting bc the story is really diff com...... 2 reply
Hentai is usually smut so it usually also has bad plot that or the main character looks like a toad that was stepped on countless times with a hair that was burnt crisp into the sun

Well, hentai is basically porno. So of course, it hasn't plot. It is for people, who want to see sex more then everything.
Bl contains plot and sex (yaoi), that s why u like it.

Honestly, same. Now when I try reading straight mangas.....its just...lacks the ~flavour~ BL has. Kinda like unseasond fish tbh ╮(￣▽￣)╭.And thats on period.

Heterosexual sex scenes are missing some SPICE... idk why. I've been recommended some good hetero smut manga; and the couples and storylines were okay but I just don't feel the same FIRE that BL manga has?!!!
