Who introduced you to BL/Yaoi?

Did someone introduce it to you? Or did you find out by yourself?

I personally had heard the words and known what it meant for a long time, but I've only started getting into it a little before my current girlfriend and I started dating. She showed me the ways, but I was always sort of weirded out to be a guy and reading these things, but they grew on me; since I was trying to figure out why she likes them (I was trying to woo her at the time (*＾ー＾)). It eventually escalated into reading smut though. I quite enjoy then now
