When you say x and y VALUES for these 2 PROBLEMS, do you mean find a set of values for (x, y) for each? You'd probably want to draw a line for each equation:
y = -8x is a straight line with negative slope that passes through (0, 0) and (1, -8).
y - 8 = -x is a straight line with a negative slope that passes through (0, 8) and (1, 7).
