Am I too young for yaoi?
Okay so I'm 12 turning 13 soon, in honesty I think I'm to young to be reading yaoi considering my age but I feel like it depends on my maturity level. I've been reading it since I was like 10 I know I would get in trouble for reading this if my mom found out but I really like the storylines and the spicy scenes are good, I exposed myself to sex when I was little (porn) and got caught watching it and I also watched 365 days (got caught too), and my mom don't trust me with the Internet ( I can see why) I don't think yaoi is influencing me in any way , I also know 12-14 who also read manga and they're pretty mature, so I feel like its not really about age but maturity. Anyways just hear to get y'all opinions
I don't really have an opinion, just keep in mind that you can stop as soon as something makes you uncomfortable, as for yaoi "influencing" you, I don't see it happening unless you are in a very unstable mindset/situation/whatever you may call it.
