Not to use mangago as my personal therapist but. My ex just reached out to me and she asked if I want to try talking again... it’s been a year and I don’t like her anymore, what do I do? My friends are saying to get back with her but last time I sorta think that the communication in our relationship was kind of unbalanced which had a negative impact on my mental health- now she’s apologizing for that and wants to get back together, and she’s saying that things will be different. I feel kind of uncomfortable—how do I tell them I think they’re really nice and sweet— but that I would rather not? Is it ok to not want to get back with her? O virgins of mangago I don’t know if y’all have ever been in a relationship before but call upon your shojo knowledge and please drop some advice or something if you can

It is more than okay not to want to get back together with someone. Trust your gut feeling with this one. From reading this, I get the impression that you're considering getting back together because of your surroundings.
