How would you interpret this (dream about ex-friend)?
A (straight) guy is no longer friends with a childhood friend who turned out to be gay and in love with him. But he has a dream about the ex-best friend crying. He tries to make him feel better but it's not working because he has no clue WHY his ex-best friend is crying. Then his ex-best friend says, "I love you." The guy wakes up and his roommates tell him he was sobbing in his sleep.
From what I can understand, the guy is feeling guilty for (possibly) ending (by rejecting?) his friendship with his (ex)best friend. He must've cherished his friendship so much that he dreamed about it, but since he really just can't return his (ex)best friend's feelings, I believe that they had to cut ties with each other (because it was awkward? ...... 1 reply
