what do you think about hitting children who don't behave?
I'm not talking about leaving them with childhood trauma, but like, an ass whooping or something to scare them a bit, or do you think it's better trying to teach them by talking alone?
Being scared a lot can cause long term biological issues that can show up in mid to late 20s and that last for the rest of the person's life. For sure it can lead to mental health issues too. reply
Violence should never be an answer. I've been hit so much, that I even dare them to hit me even more, I'm just so numb to it, I don't know how to feel when I get hit. But no, violence should not be used, use your words, you wouldn't want your kids to learn from your actions, then watching them do it to their own kids. 1 reply
I mean ill hit my kid if they need one.
I've seen so many adults who act like little children and roll all over the road because they didnt get their own way, and most of the time its because they weren't disciplined when they were younger, they were spoilt little kids.

Bruh to be honest I was beaten up as a kid and even now lmfao and I dont think it caused childhood trauma or loss of trust because yk im from an indian household and its pretty much common here and I think they did it for my own good and only did it when necessary ( for all the dumb shit I do) or otherwise I would have grown up to be a shitty kid ...... reply

depends on the situation, a spanking or a flick is somewhat better then full on kicking/punching your child to get your point across. but that should come after using words and shit, or just give them household chores?? **also i do not condone violence or anything along those lines but yk, sometimes a good flick will straighten out their act. reply
