My memories are a bit fuzzy. I think that my first Yaoi was Koisuru Bokun and because it wasn't "detailed" I didn't understand much, but generally I started off with hardcore Yaoi like Pet Keiyaku and honestly I can't remember being shocked at all, there were other feeling and thoughts that were disturbing me but no shock.
