The one I think of off the top of my head is Kill la Kill. The story was interesting at first, but then the annoying characters, the cliches, and the bad animation became too much for me to put up with. It just boggles my mind how popular it is.
I've only seen a few episodes of Sailor Moon, but I found the main character too unbearably annoying to...... reply
