why do people think its cute or quirky to tell everyone how depressed they are or how much they cut themselves or how much they want to kill themselves like its some achievement.
i think just going around talking about how depressed you are is weird. if you need help, get help. sorry.
and before anyone tells me its a 'coping mechanism', i dont think going around making people uncomfortable talking about how much you want to die and getting mad when no one pays attention to you is coping. its attention seeking.
this is super unpopular, but no one with actual problems goes around telling every person they see about them. :|
I agree but also semi disagree cuz there was a girl i knew who did that and mainly for attention even tho she hadn't been diagnosed and would always tell others and stuff (not saying u have to be diagnosed to have depression). Plus she would often try to brag about it to me to seem pitiful ig, not knowing that i myself was clinically depressed whic...... 1 reply
