hi!! i was just wondering if people who read yaoi manga frequently are desensitised to the entire concept of rape. since i happened to see a comment where a person said that if a person says 'no' during sex it doesn't mean that they're being raped since they enjoy it. but even if a person is hesitant and saying yes, it can still be rape. i don't know if it's been normalised or people just never had the knowledge of what constitutes as rape. in your opinion: if you read yaoi manga, are you more desensitised to the concept of rape and have accepted it as normal?
Rape is definitely not normal unless both parties give a SOBER SANE YES then it’s wrong to have sex with them cuz it’ll be rape not sex even if both enjoy it it’s still rape unless consent was given, and while I am into reading fucked up stories I definitely am able to differentiate between fiction and nonfiction reply
