Fish can drown
I know this by experience. So fish need oxygen in the water and if they don't have good air circulation they'll start gasping at the top for air. Found this out because my little brother started crying about his fish because they died. I personally already knew this but forgot to tell him. Am I a murderer? Am I a monster for doing so? Am I a shitty human being for not preventing a murder? Am I a worthless spec on this putrid earth for not saving a poor soul? He has just threatened me that he'll slit my throat in my sleep. Ah, the wonderful things you get to experience as the oldest child.
Fun Fact: If a fish just died. Put it in the deep freezer for a some minutes-hours, take it out and put it in some clean water and it comes back alive. This is because when it dies some of its cells are still alive and if you freeze them they’ll help the fish stay Alive. 5 reply
