I was about 21. Generally speaking, horror is my absolute favorite genre followed by seinen. But my BL curiosity was piqued by the 2 shounen ai chapters in the shoujo manga "Hana Kimi" that I was reading at that time. I remember being very taken my doctor Umeda's story.
