Thoughts on US riots?
Whats your opinion on the riots happening in the US?
I want to know because I feel like with all thats happening here we are becoming one of the worst countries to be in.
I feel nervous since I don't live to far from where the riots are happening and my neighbor is a major trumpist.
They play it off as "protesting" but no its not and it never was. If the first thing you go to is violence no its not protesting anymore. These are RIOTS and aren't for any good reason. its only for their own gain
I dont see why you cant just move on from your losses instead of tarnishing the whole country's name. Im honestly very disappointed.
I knew it was going to get bad. I knew there was going to be obvious differences in the way the police handled BLM protestors and yesterday's terrorists but I'm honestly appalled. I knew this would happen. When I saw those people praying for that man's victory after he already lost, I knew they were going to do this. People on social media were talking about some "everything will be aright in 2021." I knew not to expect a damn thing, but more foolishness and that is exactly what we got. reply
I think its pretty sad, like these people are rioting and thinking its in the name of justice when they are supporting a homophobic sexual racist white man. The other thing is, its clear there is a lot of white privilege, like for example at the peaceful protests awhile ago, there were so many more cops and people injured and killed, in comparison ...... reply
I mean, hot take here, but they're terrorists. It's a federal offense to carry a weapon inside. Like they should all have gone to jail. I'm not gonna get to into this but the fact so many believe that the traitors flag (confederate flag) symbolizes freedom means they want civil war. I'm honestly disappointed as well that these grown adults are acting so badly. I mean, me and everyone else of the younger generation are supposed to look up to adults so we can learn to be responsible, not how to get yourself locked in prison or killed. The riots from May on were all bad. For weeks that's all that the news channels showed. One of the reporters asked a guy why was he looting and I kind you not, the mf said " my ancestors were repressed by white people" and when I listened to that my brain cells up and vanished.
