Thoughts on US riots?

Whats your opinion on the riots happening in the US?

I want to know because I feel like with all thats happening here we are becoming one of the worst countries to be in.

I feel nervous since I don't live to far from where the riots are happening and my neighbor is a major trumpist.

They play it off as "protesting" but no its not and it never was. If the first thing you go to is violence no its not protesting anymore.
These are RIOTS and aren't for any good reason.
its only for their own gain

I dont see why you cant just move on from your losses instead of tarnishing the whole country's name. Im honestly very disappointed.

It's infuriating i must admit. From the rioters, to Trumps lack of response, to the stupid useless police who didn't take this shit seriously. I hate to say this but If this had been BLM they would've stopped that shit in seconds. People would've been shot, tear gassed and arrested. Asap. It pisses me off with these double standards. what gets me is that growing up in dc we all know not to mess around with government buildings, there is always mad security and sometimes even snipers on the roofs and things like that. for them to be able to get in so easily and even be taking selfies with the cops???? it's just so ridiculous reply

I think riots are legitimate tools to cause positive political change (Ex: stonewall, BLM riots), but not in this case. What the rioting Trump supporters want is to take down democracy. I think the people participating are acting like 3-year-olds. They assume that by throwing a tantrum they will get what they want, however that's not how the world works and that's definitely not how democratic electrons work. They are talking about "making America great again", but I don't see how completely disregarding the constitution and viola...... reply

Revolting. You mean the police couldn't stop about 400 people into breaking in the capitol, one of the most important official building in America? I mean, they weren't many poc, that's maybe why...
