Any Advice?
Okay, so I'm still pretty new to the LGBTQ+ community. I'm only fourteen and I finally think I figured out my gender and sexual identity. My gender is still pretty confusing, so I guess the easiest way to put is I'm a "transgender femboy", if that makes any sense. Basically, I identify as a transgender male, but I'm still very openly feminine. And I honestly wanna know if that's okay? Is it normal for a trans guy to be feminine? Cuz I feel like trans guys are just kinda expected to be masculine, since "if they're gonna be girly, what's the point of going from already being a girl to being a guy" or somethin'. Anywho, I just wanna know if there's an unwritten rule on that and whether or not I'm just a very weird and confused child. ;-;
Then there's my sexuality. I'm androsexual. I'm basically attracted to those of masculinity despite sex or gender. But I've heard that it's apparently transphobic, or can be at least... I just really need some other people's opinions on it, cause I'm worried that I may end up causing problems if people do see it as transphobic. I honestly don't know what to think or do, I'm just super confused and paranoid over it. So if you guys have any answers or advice, anything would be GREATLY appreciated!! Thank you~ ^^
I don’t know much about being androsexual but from what I know it isn’t transphobic.
And it’s completely okay to be a trans man that likes feminine things. There isnt anything about a skirt, frills, dress, makeup, or the color pink that is inherently female. The gender we associate clothing with is based entirely on the culture and time peri...... reply

Hey, congrats on finding out your gender and sexual identity! In my understanding, I say that clothes aren't gendered. Men have been wearing skirts and dresses since the beginning of time. Only in the past 2 centuries that pants became the norm.
I am not a trans person so take this with a grain of salt but the thing about clothes and trans people ...... reply
My best friend is a trans gay man who refuses any type of masculine/feminine view when it comes to clothes, makeup, etc, and we're the same about this view. He doesn't identify as non-binary, but he definitely "thinks that way", so I doubt you're weird. It's okay. No worries. reply
Hi! I’m non binary and use they/them pronouns. My brother is a trans male who expresses himself more feminine. It is completely valid and you can express yourself how ever you want regardless of your sex. Gender isn’t real it’s only a social construct. Wear whatever you want. It isn’t transphobic at all. reply
Gender identity and gender expression are separate, if you identify as a transgender male then you are one, and if you wanna wear cute clothes GO AHEAD, that doesn't make you any less of a man, I mean I'm pretty masculine, but I do enjoy wearing cute stuff from time to time!! reply
It's completely okay to be a trangender femboy, all that matters is that you're happy with yourself, in your most comfortable way of being you. And you're not transhpobic. Stay safe! reply
