I don't listen to music, because I read different types of manga. I can be reading a yaoi, where it's happy and innocent for the first few chapters so the music will be so nice and upbeat, but then some messed up stuff then start happening and music will still be playing happy and upbeat music while the tragic stuff happens. Even though I made myself a playlist with songs bl animes, gay anthems and some k-indie songs, just so I can listen to songs while reading comics. Instead i ended up using that list whilst studying reply

it depends on the vibe. if its a sad manga, then a sad song, if it was something from another category, the one im obsessing over atm would be on loop reply
