Are straight women that read bl manga fetishizing?
I’ve seen a lot of people on here argue about this so i’m gonna give my take on this. Probably gonna get cancelled
So my answer is yes but, if that’s the only kind of media they consume then it’s fetishization and they use it to get off then it’s fetishization.
This also isn’t based just on my opinion. I’ve asked many different members of lgbtq+ community that i know and a lot of have agreed with me. Some others disagreed but yea I just wanted to see you guys’ opinions.
I'm not straight, but I'm a bi female and in my opinion a lot of people that read it truly do fetishize it. You can see that specially in the younger ones that go to the extra mile of actually fetishizing real gay guys and shipping friends to their faces which in turn ends up ruining some of those friendships.
