Are straight women that read bl manga fetishizing?
I’ve seen a lot of people on here argue about this so i’m gonna give my take on this. Probably gonna get cancelled
So my answer is yes but, if that’s the only kind of media they consume then it’s fetishization and they use it to get off then it’s fetishization.
This also isn’t based just on my opinion. I’ve asked many different members of lgbtq+ community that i know and a lot of have agreed with me. Some others disagreed but yea I just wanted to see you guys’ opinions.
I don't think its fetishizing.
If they read it for the plot or like focus on the relationship instead of the "scenes", then its not. It only becomes fetishizing when they cross the line.
For example; if they read it for the s3x scenes and dont care about the plot, then thats fetishizing.
