Have you ever failed your younger self?
What is something that you expected out of adulthood when you were young and as you got older, you realize it's impossible?
For me, my family was very strict against desserts and junk food when I was growing up. My only childhood goal was to have money and a car so I would be able to buy my own junk food and sweets whenever I want. As an adult now with both of those things, I cry at the thought of calories in junk food and I can't eat sweets without feeling like my teeth will fall out.
Younger me wanted to have a job with high salary so my mother won't have to work anymore and repay her for all her hardwork.
Me now is a useless bum trying to find motivation from doing my thesis but instead reading yaoi and looking at people's art all day long. Its like I don't even care about finishing uni nor finding a job because Im falling i...... 1 reply
