How do you guys feel about straight men consuming shounen-ai (or even yaoi material) media and straight women consuming girls-love (or possibly yuri material) media? I feel like its not talked about enough, even though its the tiniest bit common. When I was in my strictly straight days (ew heteros) I read some GL and I actually liked it and ventured into yuri when I felt a bit risky. I also have straight male friends who dead ass read BL content. Is it weird? Is it fetishization??? HELP!!! tysm
I don’t think there’s anything wrong with straight people reading BL and GL. Granted I’m pansexual so i dunno if my opinion would matter. I always hate how people feel pressured to do things based on their sexuality because sexuality is fluid. Just read whatever you wanna read ¯_( ツ )_/¯ 1 reply
