It was bullshit and honestly it seemed like a troll, but the amount of stupid answers I saw....you can disagree and coherently, intelligently, formulate the reason WHY, you disagree.
For me it’s easy : - sex is sex, a good story is a good story. And women are allowed to read good shits - targeting WOMEN, to get your point across, is dumb—there is a problem with a lot of yaoi, a lot of mangas in general, targeting women as a whole is stupid and sterile - it all depends on how the reader approaches the story, and not all readers are fetishizing bastards - I don’t mind straight men reading GL, or watching wlw movies, and books and so on
Women aren't being "targeted", and the (possibly unintentional) implication of misogyny there makes this out to be something it's absolutely not.
They are however, certainly being called out, which *would* be dumb if we weren't talking about a genre of media that isn't remotely about women but is completely dominated by them in every aspect... exc...... 1 reply
