my problem with most yaois/bls (tw // mentions of r*pe)

this is just me sharing my opinion and nobody has to agree and u can even leave ur own opinions in the replies or disagree with me but there's a few things that bother me about most yaois which is why i prefer shounen ai:

1. the uke acts like they can't do anything without the seme/relies on the seme a lot
whenever this happens in a story i get so frustrated especially if the uke is older than the seme and/or in their late 20's or in their 30's. if they really can't do smth without the seme then i get that but if they can do it by themself then they shouldn't always rely on the seme imo

2. when there's more sex then plot
i get that sex is/can be a big part of the plot but if there's sex in nearly every chapter more than there is of story then that makes the story unreadable and annoying for me

3. when there's r*pe in the story, and even worse if it gets justified
sex in the story is bound to happen but is there really a need for r*pe in these stories??? it just makes readers hate the character(s) more and even if they improve later on in the story there was still no need for the r*pe, the character doesn't need to be a r*pist just to be a bad person there are so many other things they could do other than r*pe to be a bad person
