What do you think are the mangas/manhuas/manhwas/webtoons that don’t deserve all the hype its been getting (in your opinion) and the hidden gems that deserve more recognition?
I love Shimanami Tasogare and Timeless melody. Both of those deserve more hype.

Saezuru tori wa habatakanai is also CRIMINALLY underhyped for its masterpiece of a plot and characterisation (plus Yakuza? Action? Slowburn? Yes please!!)
Another rly underrated one is one is Stigma! A dark, emotional but beautiful story about healing. Handles the subject of abuse rly well imo.

TBH I don't believe in overhyped/overrated cause just because I don't like a story doesn't mean that people can't enjoy it. And naturally when people like something, they will hype it. I get it's annoying to see people hype something you don't enjoy but it's really not that deep. Just hype what you like as much and they do and move on with your lif...... reply
in my opinion the mangas/manhuas/manhwas/webtoons that are hyped up get it for a reason even if you don't see the appeal for it
And what mangas/manhuas/manhwas/webtoons deserve more hype is
after school war activities needs more hype people tend to avoid it because of the kind of sketchy art style

Fluidum is really cool. I don't know if it's a hidden gem but it explores the meaning of gender and the struggle it can be to choose between them reply
Hmm...apparently i don't have an opinion about stories that don't deserve all the hype, even though so many people mentioned some. But i can recommend some hidden gems(that are not hidden anymore):
