I've seen some people say yes, and some no.
And some people that say that its unrealistic, and it mocks gay men. But then again with yuri its unrealistic as well?.. I know its not the same situation. This is probably stupid, idk if this is stupid or not.

Hm I don’t get to speak for mlm but I’ll just give my opinion. For me, i think you could read yaoi as long as you don’t enjoy those toxic troupes and gain sexual pleasure from it? Idk if I make sense but I think fluffy and non-rapey/incest yaois are okay. reply

Reading yaoi doesn't mean you're fetishizing gay men.
yes, It is very unrealistic but as you most likely know yaoi is mostly made by women, straight women at that.
and no you don't have to be scared to read yaoi, as long as you're not seeing actual gay relationships as yaoi, and actually mocking gay men, it's perfectly fine...... 1 reply
