Am I going Through a Phase?
I came out to my mom just now, somewhat indirectly, but I think she got the point. I like girls. My mom, however, said I was going through a phase. Apparently my body's going through lots of changes and it's not real. I don't mean to rant, but is it a phase? I'm not going to reveal my age but I am a teenager. I've had crushes on girls since kindergarten. I just wanna know if what I've been thinking is my sexuality up to this point is real or not.
I think what is best is for you to trust yourself, and yourself alone. Other people don’t have a say in your sexuality. It is completely up to you how you define yourself and what type of person you learn towards, regardless of gender. But if you know that you are attracted to girls, then go for it!
