Am I going Through a Phase?
I came out to my mom just now, somewhat indirectly, but I think she got the point. I like girls. My mom, however, said I was going through a phase. Apparently my body's going through lots of changes and it's not real. I don't mean to rant, but is it a phase? I'm not going to reveal my age but I am a teenager. I've had crushes on girls since kindergarten. I just wanna know if what I've been thinking is my sexuality up to this point is real or not.
A phase is something like being the edgy goth kid or liking gacha life, NOT your sexuality. If you've liked girls since kindergarten then it is defininately not a phase. You like girls, that's okay, it is part of your identity. Be proud~ So just tell her straight out that it isn't a phase.
