Am I going Through a Phase?
I came out to my mom just now, somewhat indirectly, but I think she got the point. I like girls. My mom, however, said I was going through a phase. Apparently my body's going through lots of changes and it's not real. I don't mean to rant, but is it a phase? I'm not going to reveal my age but I am a teenager. I've had crushes on girls since kindergarten. I just wanna know if what I've been thinking is my sexuality up to this point is real or not.
If you liked girls for a long time, it's probably not a phase. And even if it might be, say you change your mind in a few years or something, your sexuality should still be respected. If you say "I am this sexuality" that's who you are right now, that's real, and people shouldn't question that. You know yourself better than anyone. I'm sorry your m...... reply
