Why are there so many people reading yaoi but are uncomfortable?
I’m starting to see a wave of complainers on comment section on almost every manga. Wether if it’s because of the gore or rape scenes in it. Aren’t we reading yaois because we want to take a break from the mundane? We dive into these ridiculous storylines for fun or excitement. It’s like I see people purposely deciding to watch a horror movie but then know it in themselves that they can’t stand horror. Are people just hate-binging? Is this a thing?
I can totally see where you're coming from. Personally, my issue isn't with people who comment on not liking a story for its taboo subject matter. That is their right.
