Manga authors would be Takarai Rihito, Ogeretsu Tanaka, Harada.... yeah, the usual ones. As for novel authors, lately, I've been into Garth Greenwell, Kazuo Ishiguro and Alice Oseman...... My favorite book, though, is written by John Boyne (If you haven't read it yet, "The Hearts Invisible Furies" is definitely worth a try!!!) (づ￣ ³￣)づ   reply

I do not have a favorite author when it comes to manga, I like for example: Shungiku Nakamura, Feng Nong, Kou Yoneda, Machiya Hatoko, Kanda Neko, Sakyou Aya, Takenaka Sei, Yoneda Kou and there are even more of them :) and when it comes to writers, it is Stanisław Herman Lem :)   reply

Well for BL mangas, from the top of my head, would be Ogawa Chise. She was one of my first favorites and I read all of her available translated works. They were all very memorable. I don't have favorite novel authors; I have favorite genres and favorite books, but not an author who consistently releases work I love. Now, for comics that's different. Manga authors I like DJun, Old Xian and Furuya Nagisa. I've read all their work and love love love them. Then Andrea Cremer is my favorite book author. I love her Nightshade series.   reply
