It's quite normal. I'm lesbian and only read BL. Before realizing I was a lesbian BL was a escape route for me because I felt weirded out reading straight stories. Also since BL is written by women and for women it usualy doesn't depict men quite well, so their actions, thoughts, feelings and appearance are quite feminine. Of course. Anyone can like yoai, yoai is just a genre. It doesn't freaking matter. Of course they can! They are sexually attracted to females only, but that doesn't mean they can't enjoy the romance of the opposite sex. They might not get off on it, but lesbians can still read yaoi and love it as much as anyone else.   reply

I think that you don't have to be a " true" lesbian like they said , but only be yourself . I'm genderfluid and I 'm not sexual attracted by guys and I like girls , but YAOI is my life!!
