Homosexuality used to be considered a mental illness in the past, and right now pedophilia is also considered a mental illness. As time passes by, will pedophilia also be accepted just like how homosexuality has been? When I came out, my homophobic brother said, "Why draw the line between homosexuality and pedophilia? Homosexuals can't control it, they were like that since birth, pedophiles are the same." And that really got me thinking about this topic.
I hope this shit will never happen. Pedophilia IS a mental illness, and that was proven that it is a disorder. Unfortunately there are people that actually belive that it is a sexuality. Like pedophiles themselves. A month ago I was actually having a fight with a pedo cuz he was sure that it is a sexuality and that it's the same as begin gay. Which...... reply
