neither. when a person attempts to commit suicide, that means that they've been pushed to this, that they feel suffocated and they believe that they have no other option to escape their pain. the person saving the suicidal person is only doing what i believe is right. perhaps suicide may be seen as self mercy killing, but i think that suicide will ......   1 reply

Both are selfish and there isn't anything wrong with being selfish no one is supposed to be living for someone else and it's normal that a person would want other to be alive even if their life is hell   reply

Both. Humans are selfish by nature. The suicidal person = wants to end their misery irregardless of the people around them = selfish The savior = wants to save someone from death irregardless if that suicidal person wants to be saved or not = selfish Whether its for their own sake or for the sake of others, the motivation behind the things pe......   reply

This is sort of like the topic of euthanasia. Would you attempt to save them, and have them suffer through the pain? Or put them to rest, and send them off less painfully? If I were suicidal.... I would be pretty pissed off if some unknown good samaritan attempts to "save" me for their own personal relief. Say I were to be saved.. It is only my ......   reply

Why is person who wants to stop someone from suicide selfish? I mean it means they don't want someone to die cause they care about them, so why selfish? You mean because they don't want them to die even though this person wants to die? That's not selfish..It means they care. They want this person to be happy and alive if they don't want them to kil......   3 reply

The person trying to save the suicidal person is selfish. Because this person knows that trying to keep them alive is costing the suicidal person . This person knows that just by breathing it's exhausting for the suicidal person .This person sees and feels how the suicidal person don't want to be here. So this person trying to keep the suicidal per......   1 reply

For Neither of them. The person trying to suicide, we can't actually know what's happening to his/her mind in that state (Maybe abuse, bully or any). The person trying to save the suicide person, he/she is trying to do the right thing. Life is precious tho. For those people who wants to commit suicide, LET OUT YOUR VOICE PLEASE. If you need some......   reply

Is there any need to compare? Life itself is selfish and people even more. Everyone is different and who can say what the true intentions are but the persons involved themselves? I think it's egoistic to suicide in a way that scars others (more than necessary) - for example: jumping from a bridge/building right in front of a train or cars (why w......   reply

neither, you can't blame a person trying to commit suicide because, they're ill & are just in that much pain and misery (can you even begin to fathom how desperate, miserable & mentally & emotionally exhausted a person must be to consider committing suicide?) nor can you blame a person trying to save a suicidal person, because they just don't want ......   reply
