I knew some girls that also liked bl and were weirded out by a lesbian and then were basically??? fetishising some bi guys we knew? needless to say I cut them off and was super disgusted by those girls. I dont know if thats a double standard or something needless to say people are weird. Have you guys seen anything like this before? I know its a thing that some "hyper masculine straight guys" like lesbians but get defensive around gay guys.
I personnally don't believe that reading yaoi automatically makes you non-homophobic. That's just something some (not all) fujoshis think because they want to feel like they're better human beings than everyone else by accepting two guys sleeping with each other.
