I knew some girls that also liked bl and were weirded out by a lesbian and then were basically??? fetishising some bi guys we knew? needless to say I cut them off and was super disgusted by those girls. I dont know if thats a double standard or something needless to say people are weird. Have you guys seen anything like this before? I know its a thing that some "hyper masculine straight guys" like lesbians but get defensive around gay guys.
Yes it's double standard. A lot of yaoi fans has this double standard in the real world. Somehow I think I'm a bit guilty about it because I read yaoi a lot but in the real world, I cannot easily get super comfortable with gay people being really affectionate with each other.
