Okay so I love kpop and I'm a big fan of BTS but I'm still pretty new at being apart of the BTS fandom. I've discovered that if you don't know much about something to do with BTS and ask a question people will get rude or whatever and say something like "It's something only ARMYs will understand" or "You wouldn't understand if you don't like kpop" like bro answer my damn question I can't understand if you don't tell me. Sigh Ahem anyway just got mad and wanted to rant for a moment.
Oh yeah I've seen it happen before. I feel like it's the case for everything. People who know more than you tend to look down on you. That's sad but oh well reply
I used to be a part of ARMY but left because they’re so toxic (just like any other mainstream fandom, really)...and in all honesty? You can still be a diehard fan without having to be a part of the fandom. All it is, is some grandiose label fans give themselves to feel like they belong. I completely understand where you are coming from and I agree with you 100%.
I was heavily invested in the fandom for multiple years and I found that people have got more and more mean to new army which is really shitty. And to be honest I decided to take a step back from the fandom and support BTS by myself in my own way and I am 100% happier tha...... reply
