A bit annoyed

This is a vent about my friend, so she has always had dogs her whole life and I’ve always had cats. So a few weeks ago she starts begging her mom for a kitten but her mom says no because they have 3 dogs. She keeps complaining to me saying that it would be so easy to have a kitten and she would just keep it in her room all day. Also I was helping her look up kittens near us and was trying to tell her she should just get a cat not a kitten because it would be better and there are many more abandoned cats here that needs homes but she is being really picky and saying she only wants a kitten and it has to be less than a month old and it has to bile cute she doesn’t want it if it’s “ugly”. She thinks it will be no hard work to raise a kitten. I’m sorry if this sounds really stupid but please tell me she’s being a little unreasonable.
