Let's discuss whether Ormagaverses are transphobic or not.
I have read many omegaverses and some of them force me to think that if all alphas can impregnant omegas but omagas can't impregnant alphas. Then wouldn't all alphas be male and all omegas be females beacuse the only distinct difference between males and females is that the former can't give birth and the latter can . The other thing is when I read the comments saying omegaverses are transphobic. It made me think that there some cases where the society (in omegaverse) will think of the omegas regardless of there gender as females so I thought it is a similar to a transphobic mindset as the feelings of the male omegas are being ignored or disregarded. This was my opinion. Also I think that it's not to bad in some cases as it adds a good plot to the story though morally speaking these things all not right and harm the feelings of others.
I am writing this as a question beacuse I wanted people to respond to this opinion of mine and also give there own opinions. Thank you for being kind enough to read till the end. Wish you a good day
The genre can be seen as an attempt to rectify the fact that cis gay men cannot have biological children, which is weird in and of itself. But in doing so, it trivializes and turns trans experiences into fetish material. The genre ignores the existence of transsexual men but somehow profits off of the lived experience of many of them. Like, how man...... reply
Transphobic? I think omegaverse is just a genre that tends to have shitty plotlines. People should stop trying to turn everything into something that it's not. 1 reply

I feel like it can only be seen as transphobic when you add OUR gender norms and stereotypes into a fictional world where things are different, weather you a man or a woman in omega verse does not ma...... reply
Wow..I’ve never thought of it that way but after reading your input and everyone else’s y’all make some really good points. Personally I don’t like omegaverse because it basically just intensifies the already toxic belief of “seme” and “uke” relationships and it’s all super cliche so once you’ve read one omegaverse comic you’v...... reply
9 times outta 10 omegaverse is done distastefully; the general rule of thumb is to avoid it unless you have nothing else to read.
i don't necessarily think it's transphobic though? it's usually very misogynistic from what i've seen 2 reply
This is kind of a tricky question. There are many omegaverse stories that are this way, but it really depends on the story itself. I have read a couple where the omega is actually very masculine or where a female alpha gets a male omega pregnant, but that also does not always mean anything. One of the big things about omegaverse is that the authors...... reply
