I wanted strangers opinion on my question
Am I homophobic if I don't support the LGBT community. But I'm okay with you coming out as gay or any other sexualities. Like "I'm okay with that. You can hangout with me even if you're Gay. I don't care." And I wanna be neutral but at the same time I have a nagging feeling I'm homophobic with gay couples. Is it homophobic of me to think that? Or I just don't fully support something.
It's been a long argument over whether or not anyone is homophobic whether they "don't care" whether anyone is gay. The rationale behind the word "don't worry" but continued opposition to the lgbtq+ remains unclear. You can't think "I don't care" and then hang out with a group of marginalized people.
