I wanted strangers opinion on my question
Am I homophobic if I don't support the LGBT community. But I'm okay with you coming out as gay or any other sexualities. Like "I'm okay with that. You can hangout with me even if you're Gay. I don't care." And I wanna be neutral but at the same time I have a nagging feeling I'm homophobic with gay couples. Is it homophobic of me to think that? Or I just don't fully support something.
I'm gonna be blunt here; You're homophobic. A common homophobic rhetoric is: "i DoN't SupPoRt tHe LgBtQ+ cOmMuNiTy bUt I sTiLl ReSpEcT yOu, I dOn'T cArE iF yOu'Re GaY." If you say this people will just automatically assume you're homophobic, there is no way to be neutral on the topic. Treating a group of people as if they are nothing but a politica...... reply
