I want to be better so people will like me
Hey guys! Do you have any tips on how to improve my personality so that people will want to be friends with me? I'm kind of bland and have trouble with entertaining people that I'm talking with, but I really want to make friends and have fun with them. Any ideas? PS. Please don't write something like "act crazy so they won't notice that you're boring"
This is pretty obvious but try to socialize more and learn from others around you. That's how most people have learned social skills. These things can't be learned from books or videos, they can be learned by doing, experiencing and occasionally making mistakes (faking isn't helpful either, at least not in my experience).

I agree with people saying be yourself, but it doesn't mean you can't improve, right? Maybe you just lack social skills, and in that case you can watch a lot of videos on youtube about that (charisma on command for example) or read a book if you prefer.
Just remember that in the end, there will always exist people who don't like u. And that's oka...... reply
Tbh, just be yourself and find friends that have similar hobbies and interests that you have. It's a lot easier to start convos too if you know what ya'll like. reply
if you want to make online friends there's plenty of discord servers you can join. ig just join some that are based on an interest of urs;? school clubs are fun too, istg joining art club was one of the best decisions i made last year. it's very easy and fun to interact with others in clubs since everyone has a common interest. like other people s...... reply
I'd recommend not so much changing yourself as changing small mannerisms. The main things I'd suggest are:
- Balancing a conversation with being about you and about another person
- *Asking questions* and answering truthfully
- Starting conversations with people that you aren't necessarily comfortable with yet
